Pari received the Sandy Cameron Memorial Award at the 2024 Downtown Eastside’s Heart of the City Festival.
Named in honor of the late poet, teacher, and activist, the award recognizes writing that carries forward Sandy Cameron’s legacy of social justice, community encouragement, and deep reverence for the natural world—celebrating work that uplifts collective memory and nurtures hope.
